What's the status of my order?
You can check your order status from the orders page on your account. Please allow 24 hours for the order information to be updated. Once shipped, you can track your order as it makes it way to you. Email us at hi@meritbeauty.com if you have any questions.
Can I make any changes to my order?
At this time, we will be unable to make any changes or edits to any orders – this includes the shipping address or payment information. Please make sure to review your information before completing your order.
Can I change the shipping address on my order?
Unfortunately, we cannot update the address on an order after it has been placed. In the event that your order is returned to us, we are happy to send a replacement or provide a refund.
Please note that we cannot refund or replace orders that have been delivered to the address originally provided.
How do I cancel my order?
At this time, we are unable to cancel any orders once they are placed on meritbeauty.com. Make sure to check your order details and shipping information before processing your order.
How do I get a MERIT bag?
Every first order from meritbeauty.com ships with the MERIT Signature Bag for free.
Each order thereafter ships in Green Cell Foam, a cornstarch derivative that you can dissolve in water or compost.
Do you offer gift cards?
At this time, we do not offer gift cards.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards and debit cards. We also accept PayPal (US, UK and Canada only), ApplePay, AfterPay (US and Canada Only), and ShopPay. We are unable to accept prepaid gift cards, checks, or money orders.
Where do you ship?
We ship to the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, the UK and Australia. Please note: You may experience slightly longer delivery times when shipping internationally or to Hawaii, Alaska, as well as APO addresses and U.S. territories.
We do not accept orders that are shipped to P.O. boxes or freight forwarders. We do not deliver to freight forwarding addresses.
Please note: Our fragrance ships via ground everywhere except Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and Australia.
What shipping couriers do you use?
We currently ship with DHL, FedEx 2-Day, USPS, Evri and Passport.
Do you offer free shipping?
Standard shipping is free for all orders $40 USD or more in the United States (pre-tax and shipping cost), $50 CAD or more in Canada (pre-tax and shipping costs), £50 GBP or more in the UK (pre-tax and shipping costs) and $75 AUD or more in AUS (pre-tax and shipping costs).
For orders under $40 USD, flat fee shipping is $8. For orders under $50 CAD, flat fee shipping is $15. For orders under £50 GBP, standard shipping fee is £7 and expedited shipping is £13. For orders under $75 AUD, standard shipping fee is $20 and express shipping is $35.
Why can't I expedite my order?
At this time, we are unable to expedite any Merit orders which include our fragrance. Retrospect is available via ground shipping everywhere except Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and Australia.
When will my order arrive?
All MERIT orders, including expedited orders, are processed within 1-3 business days – orders will then be shipped at the speed selected during checkout. We do not ship on weekends or major holidays. Kindly note, that all delivery timelines are subject to change by the shipper.
US Standard shipping requires 3-5 business days for delivery and expedited shipping requires 1-3 business days for delivery, after processing.
CAN Standard shipping requires 3-8 business days of delivery and expedited shipping requires 2-5 business days for delivery, after processing.
UK Standard shipping requires 3-5 business days for delivery and express shipping requires 1-2 business days for delivery, after processing. Please note that orders will be delivered via Evri.
AUS Standard shipping requires 10-12 business days for delivery and express shipping requires 8-10 business days for delivery, after processing. Please note that orders will be delivered via Passport.
Once the carrier accepts and scans your package, the tracking information sent via email/phone will be updated and given an estimated arrival date for your package. Please note it may take 24-48 hours for tracking to be updated by the shipper.
Will the Canadian postal strikes impact my order?
We're aware of the ongoing postal strike in Canada and are working closely with our international fulfillment partners – Fedex and DHL – to limit disruptions. None of our Canadian shipments are handled end-to-end by Canadian Post, and only select customers in rural areas will have the final leg of their fulfillment completed by Canadian Post. We expect delays to be minimal, but please reach out to hi@meritbeauty.com if you have concerns about your shipment.

What is AfterPay?
AfterPay is a shopping service (and app) that allows you to make a purchase today and pay for it later with four equal installments, every two weeks, interest-free. It's available on all orders $35 and above. It is only available in the United States.
How do I make a purchase using AfterPay?
Shop for your favorites on meritbeauty.com and proceed to checkout. At checkout simply choose AfterPay as your payment method. You'll be taken to Afterpay.com to create an account and finalize your purchase. Note: Orders must be between $35 and $1,000 in order to be eligible for AfterPay.
What happens if I miss an AfterPay payment?
If there are insufficient funds in your account and a payment is missed, you may be subject to late fees. You can view the AfterPay payment agreement here.
